I used to buy everything Hanro years ago, and was going to go back to Hanro, but for one, the quality isn’t there. The pairs I purchased have had fraying threads before I wore them once, and I’ve only gently handwashed them. Also, I’d spent over £300 in a two weeks at your London boutique, and after the last purchase a store clerk mentioned getting points for purchases, which no one had mentioned, and she suggested I bring in all my receipts to get points, so I did, and the store clerk was tallying them. I was also exchanging one pair of briefs, still in the box with tags on, that I’d just purchased, for a different kind, and the manager came up and acted like the receipts were for some big return, and very pointedly chided the store clerk to make sure she crossed out each return on the receipt before giving it back to me. Well I’d worked with that store clerk who was very nice, and knew I’d spent a lot of money and hadn’t returned anything, and I’m sure she didn’t cross out the one exchange because that’s something you do when you don’t trust a customer and think they’re going to be dishonest. It was incredibly rude of the store manager to instruct the store clerk on crossing out the item on the receipt, so pointedly, right in front of me. Also, it’s creepy that all their boxes are opened and they said that’s store policy to never seal boxes, though they handle the items and customers handle them and then they put them right back in the box and sell them to other customers. All in all, not an impressive experience. I realized there are a lot of superior lingerie brands, and there’s no point in wasting my money with Hanro.
